4. we are in the middle of a series of messages from 2 Peter.

5. Last time, we started looking at Chapter 2.

6. We saw how Peter refutes the false teachings of the false teachers.

7. Peter first assailed the false teachings

8. and, then, denounces the false teachers themselves.

9. Today, we will see that Peter assures us of the impending doom that will come upon those people.

10. God is very patient.

11. God is giving them chance after chance after chance to repent;

12. but, eventually, God will sit in judgment upon them.

13. In Chapter 2, verses 4 to 11,
在2:4-11,

14. Peter gives us specific biblical evidence on how God eventually judges sin.

15. God may be patient, but eventually His justice will prevail.
虽然神很有耐心容忍我们,但到了末日,祂的公义必定要彰显。

16. In verse 4, Peter tells us that God judged angels when they got too pleased with themselves.

17. Listen to that verse.

18. “For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but sent them to Hell, putting them into gloomy dungeons to be held for judgment...”
“就是天使犯了罪,神也没有宽容,曾把他们丢在地狱,交在黑暗坑中,等候审判……”

19. In Jude, verse 6, God kicked the angels out of Heaven when they committed the sin of apostasy.
在犹大书第六节记载,神驱逐那些叛逆的天使,从神的面前离开。

20. Let’s look at that verse.
我们来读一读这一节:

21. “And the angels who did not keep their positions of authority but abandoned their own home - these he has kept in darkness, bound with everlasting chains for judgment on the great Day...”
“又有不守本位,离开自己住处的天使,主用锁链把他们永远拘留在黑暗里,等候大日的审判。”

22. and Peter tells us that God is going to do the same with these false teachers.
彼得告诉我们,神也同样会审判这些假师傅。

23. God sent those rebellious angels to the pit of Hell and utter doom because of their apostasy
神怎样把那些反叛的天使赶到地狱的深坑里,

24. and He will do the same with those who misled His people;
祂也照样审判这些误导他百姓的假师傅。

25. but Peter says, in verses 5 and 6, that, not only angels were doomed,
彼得又在第五和第六节那里说,不仅仅那些犯罪的天使灭亡了,

26. but the ancient world was doomed when they refused God’s message.
就连上古世代的人,也因着违背神的旨意而难逃噩运。

27. When the people of the Old Testament ignored God’s Word,
当旧约中记载的这些人违背了神的话语,

28. they too suffered destruction and doom.
他们同样遭受了毁灭和败亡。

29. In Genesis 6:5, during the time of Noah,
在创世记6:5的挪亚时代,

30. the Bible said, “…every imagination of thoughts of their hearts were continuously evil.”
圣经说:那些人“终日所思想的尽都是恶。”

31. In Genesis 6:11 to 13,
创世记6:11-13说,

32. in God’s sight, the earth was corrupt and filled with violence.
世界在神面前败坏,地上满了强暴。

33. In Genesis 6:6,
在创世记6:6,

34. their wickedness made God sorry that He ever made humankind.
他们的邪恶让神后悔造人在地上。

35. In Genesis 6:7,
在创世记6:7,

36. God was grieved by what they had turned into
神为着他们的所作所为而伤心难过,

37. and He decided to blot them out and start all over again.
于是,神决定要除灭他们,让一切从头开始。

38. God decided to spare only Noah and his family so that they could begin a new creation all over again.
神决定只留下挪亚和他全家,好让一切从头开始。

39. Do you know how long it took God to act on His warnings through Noah?
你知道从神开始吩咐挪亚警告他们,到实现祂的审判有多久吗?

40. One hundred and twenty years;
长达120年之久;

41. But, even after that, the world became corrupt again;
然而,即使在这之后,世界又变坏了;

42. and, in the twin city of Sodom and Gomorrah, it got so bad that God sent sulfur and fire from Heaven and burnt them to a crisp.
所多玛、蛾摩拉罪恶滔天,以致神从天上降下硫磺与火,把这两座城烧成了灰烬。

43. The people of Sodom were like so many people in our world today.
所多玛人与当今世代的人是多么的相似。

44. Many people not only accept sexual sins, but they glory in them.
很多人不但不认为淫乱是犯罪,而且还为这些罪恶涂脂抹粉。

45. Unbelievers are practicing the same kinds of sins today.
今天,不认识神的人正在犯着同样的罪。

46. In Romans 1:26 and 28,
在罗马书1:26和28,

47. after describing this shameful lifestyle and this abomination,
圣经描述了这些可羞耻的,以及可憎的生活方式,

48. the Scripture said,
经上说:

49. “…receiving in their own persons the due penalty for their sin.”
“就在自己身上受这妄为当得的报应。”

50. It is no surprise, therefore, that, when Peter is dealing with apostasy in the church, he has so much to say about immorality.
因此,毫不奇怪,当彼得面对教会中那些背离正道之人的时候,他对于这些不道德的事,有很多话要说。

51. The two go together.
无独有偶,

52. Apostasy often has its roots in moral failure.
背道的人通常是先在道德方面一败涂地,

53. It begins this way.
这就是因果关系。

54. A believer who has a weakness in a certain area in his or her life gets tempted
一个信徒在他某些弱点上受到试探,

55. and he falls into sin.
他在罪中跌倒了。

56. What does grace say?
从恩典来看,是怎么说的呢?

57. What does the Scripture say?
圣经是怎么说的呢?

58. Scripture tells the sinner to get up and repent.
经上告诉我们,要站起来,并且要悔改。

59. Scripture tells the sinner to bring your sin under the blood of Jesus Christ.
经上告诉我们,一个罪人要带着他的罪来到耶稣基督的宝血面前,

60. Ask Him for forgiveness;
来求神的赦免;

61. then, ask Him to give you the power to overcome the next round;
并且求神赐给他,在下一次试探中战胜罪恶的能力。

62. but what does apostasy say to that same sinner?
可是,那些假师傅是怎么对罪人说呢?

63. “You can’t help it.
他们说:”你无可奈何,

64. This is just the way you are.
你注定就是这样了。

65. God did not mean what He said about this or that.
神所说的那些话并不是那个意思。

66. The Bible was for people who were backward and lived in the pre-scientific age,
圣经只对那些生活在落后的,科学不发达年代的人适用。

67. so keep on indulging;
所以,尽管放纵吧;

68. and shout louder in order to convince yourself and others that you are not really doing anything wrong.”
而且,要大声疾呼地对你自己和周围的人说:“我没有做错事。”

69. My listening friends, please listen carefully.
我亲爱的朋友,请仔细听我说,

70. This is the strategy of much of what you see in the movies and on television.
就像电影或电视剧里运用的某些技巧那样,

71. This is the strategy of the apostates in the church.
也正是那些离道反教之人所使用的一种策略;

72. This is the strategy of the apostates among the religious leaders.
这就是背弃真道的假师傅所使用的策略。

73. Let’s look at verse 7 of Chapter 2 of 2 Peter.
我们来看一下彼得后书2:7,

74. Peter tells us that the same God Who visits destruction on the ungodly also rescues the righteous.
彼得告诉我们,这位毁灭不义之城的神,同样也搭救义人。

75. Peter is saying, “Look at Lot.”
彼得说:“看看罗得。”

76. If you and I lived during the time of Lot,
如果你、我生活在罗得的时代,

77. we might not have thought of him as a righteous man.
我们或许会认为他不是个义人。

78. He appears to be a social climber.
他看起来像一个在社会上追求成功的人。

79. Lot appears to be a status-seeking opportunist who was willing to comprise and put up with corruption
罗得看起来很像一个寻求社会地位的机会主义者,他容忍罪恶、向世界妥协,

80. so that he could make a place for himself in the society;
因而在社会上有他的一席之地;

81. but the Bible tells us that Lot was paying a heavy price for his lifestyle,
可是,圣经告诉我们,罗得为着他的生活方式付出了沉重的代价,

82. and that price was because he was a righteous man who lived a life of compromise.
这种代价就是,他作为一个向罪恶妥协的义人,所承受的那种痛苦。

83. His soul was perplexed by the perversion of his business partners and of his neighbors and of his friends,
他的灵魂被他的生意伙伴、邻居和朋友扭曲的生活方式所搅扰。

84. but God saw that Lot had genuine faith.
但是,神看见罗得仍有一颗真诚的信心,

85. God saw that, deep down, Lot was tormented because he loved righteousness.
神看到,因着罗得仍然喜爱公义,所以他心灵的深处仍然为罪忧伤。

86. Look at verse 8.
请看第八节,

87. Lot’s soul was crushed daily by the things that he heard and saw in Sodom.
每一天,罗得的心被所多玛城里一切的罪恶感到伤痛。

88. The vile immorality of the people caused him deep suffering.
那些人邪恶可耻的行为,让他深感忧伤。

89. My listening friends, please listen carefully.
我亲爱的朋友,请仔细听我说,

90. That is what sin and wickedness and abomination ought to do to us.
这是罪恶、邪僻以及一切可憎之事带给我们的影响,

91. The vile immorality we see in the world around us should cause us deep suffering;
我们应当为周围一切罪恶的事而深感忧伤。

92. but it ought to do more than that.
不仅如此,

93. It ought to drive us to our knees.
我们还要为着这些事付上祷告的代价。

94. Why?
为什么呢?

95. In verse 9, Peter concludes that God is able and He will deliver the righteous and judge the ungodly.
在第九节,彼得说,神能够,也愿意搭救义人,刑罚恶人。

96. Peter said that the wicked are prepared for Hell.
彼得说,恶人是要下地狱的。

97. If you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ and listening to us today,
如果你是一位基督徒,并收听这个节目的话,

98. this statement should drive you to your knees.
你就要为彼得所指的这些人祷告。

99. Why?
为什么呢?

100. To intercede for any person you know who does not know the Lord Jesus Christ.
为了你周围那些还没有认识主耶稣基督的人代祷,

101. Those words drive me to intercede for these wretched souls who are false teachers.
经上的话驱使我为这些假师傅将亡的灵魂代求。

102. Believers must intercede for those who are misleading people, and who are going to pay a dreadful price unless they repent.
信徒需要为那些把人引入歧途的假师傅代求;因为他们若不悔改,就要付出沉重的代价。

103. Does Peter tell us to hate false teachers?
彼得是要我们恨这些假师傅吗?

104. No.
不是的。

105. We should not hate them,
我们不但不要恨他们,

106. but all believers should pray for them and intercede on their behalf.
反而要为他们祷告代求。

107. All believers should long to see them repent and turn to the Lord.
信徒应该盼望他们悔改转向神。

108. I want you to look at verse 10 of Chapter 2 of 2 Peter.
请看彼得后书2章10节,

109. Peter tells us that these false teachers reject God’s authority and the authority of His Word;
彼得告诉我们,这些假师傅抗拒神的权柄和神话语的权威;

110. not only that, but they are self-pleasing, rather than God-pleasing.
不但这样,他们放纵自己的情欲,不求讨神的喜悦。

111. Peter said that these people are bold and willful.
彼得说,这些人胆大任性。

112. Their brazen repudiation seems to have no limit.
他们毁谤在尊位的,也不知惧怕。

113. No language is too extreme for them to use in order to shock people.
他们为了恐吓众人,任何偏激的话都说得出口。

114. They are belligerent in their denouncing of Scriptural authority.
他们存心挑衅,藐视圣经的权威。

115. Look at verse 11.
请看11节。

116. Peter tells us that the audacity of those professed ministers of the church of Jesus Christ
彼得说,某些教会的传道人真是胆大妄为,

117. is without parallel in the angelic realm.
他们没有向天使学习。

118. Although angels are greater than men in power and might,
虽然天使的力量、权能比人更大,

119. they do not pronounce a reviling judgment like men do.
但是,他们从不像人一样说毁谤论断的话。

120. Although angels are greater than men,
虽然天使比人更有能力,

121. the moment they sinned against God, they were pushed immediately out of Heaven.
但当他们犯罪得罪神,他们也要立刻被赶出去,从神面前离开。

122. There was no second chance;
再也没有悔改的机会;

123. yet, God patiently gives the false teachers second and third and two hundred chances
然而,神一次又一次地忍耐这些假师傅,

124. so that they may repent of their sins.
希望他们能够悔改。

125. In verse 12, Peter said
在12节,彼得说:

126. although these false teachers are supposed to be rational beings who are distinct from animals,
虽然这些假师傅不是禽兽,而是有理性的人,

127. yet, they live as if the gratification of their bodily appetites is the very essence of existence.
然而,他们只为了满足自己的欲望而生存。

128. Just as many animals seem to have no higher destiny than to die at the end of life,
就像大多数禽兽活着,只为了等候被宰杀一般,

129. so do the false teachers as they lunge forward to destruction.
同样的,这些假师傅就是速速地冲向灭亡。

130. False teachers are heedless of what should be their true calling.
假师傅漠视他们被召真正的目的。

131. What is that calling?
是怎样的呼召呢?

132. To glorify God and enjoy Him forever.
就是荣耀神,并且永远以神为乐。

133. What is the reason that they cannot see their true calling?
他们为什么看不见真正的呼召呢?

134. Peter says it is because they have no spiritual eyes.
彼得说,那是因为他们心里的眼睛瞎了。

135. They are ignorant of spiritual things.
他们在属灵的事情上愚昧无知。

136. They may pose and present themselves as experts in the spiritual realm,
也许,他们会装得很属灵的样子,

137. yet, the truth is, a humble believer can see more on his knees than they can see standing on their tippy-toes.
然而,事实上,一个谦卑祷告的信徒,远比那些道貌岸然的假师傅看得更清楚。

138. Since they choose to live like animals,
由于他们选择了禽兽般的生活方式,

139. they will be destroyed like animals.
所以,他们也会像禽兽一样被宰杀。

140. They will die without hope.
他们会绝望而死。

141. Listen again to verse 13.
请听第13节,

142. “Their wickedness has earned them an evil end, and they will be paid in full.”
“行的不义,就得了不义的工价。”

143. One day, they will pay dearly for their wretchedness.
有一天,他们将要为他们所做的一切恶事付出沉重的代价。

144. One day, they will pay dearly for misleading believers.
有一天,他们要为着把信徒引离正路而付出沉重的代价。

145. One day, they will pay dearly for confusing the flock.
有一天,他们要为着迷惑羊群而付出沉重的代价。

146. Someday, they will meet their payday.
总有一天,他们要面对审判。

147. Now, some of you listening to me today are going through some difficult time.
今天,我们中间有些人正面临一些困难,

148. The devil no doubt tempts you by saying to you that you have been faithful and you have trusted God.
撒但肯定要试探你说﹕你已经满心在信靠神了,

149. You have believed in His Word and you have not thrown away your faith.
你已经相信神的话,而且没丢掉你的信心。

150. Look at your life.
但看看你的人生,

151. What good is that doing you?
你的信心对你有什么益处呢?

152. Please listen to what Peter said in verse 9 of Chapter 2.
请听彼得在2:9所说的话:

153. “The Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of testing.”
“主知道搭救敬虔的人脱离试探。”

154. You cannot see your reward right now,
现在你虽然看不见你的奖赏,

155. but it is coming.
但很快你就会得到。

156. You do not experience it right now,
现在你虽然没有经历过它,

157. but it is right on time.
但你的奖赏会准时来到。

158. You might be tempted to think that God has forgotten you,
你也许会认为神已经把你给忘了,

159. but it is not so.
但事实并非如此。

160. He is putting the final touches in the mansion that He is preparing for you.
祂正在精心装修你未来永恒的居所呢!

161. You must remain faithful,
你必须保持信心,

162. because you are honoring God,
因为这样,你就是荣耀神。

163. and God will honor you.
神也会尊重你,

164. You have His Word on it.
你有神的话为保证。
