5. And I want to begin by telling you about a certain selling technique.

6. That selling technique is called to bait and switch method.

7. And this is how it works.

8. A retailer entices people through advertising to come into his store by offering a well known brand name for a very low price.

9. And when the buyer comes in,

10. To purchase this particular brand,

11. He is told that this brand is out of stock.
却听说卖光了。
12. Immediately the customer is offered an inferior brand,
于是介绍另一种次等的品牌给顾客，
13. Probably for more money.
很可能价钱更贵些。
14. A brand name that was used to gain the customers confidence,
用名牌取得顾客的信任，
15. The brand name that was used to bring the customer into the store,
用名牌吸引顾客走进商店，
16. Is not there,
但这牌子的货品却不在店里，
17. But an inferior product is offered.
只有次档的货色。
18. This is how Satan works,
撒但就是这么做的，
19. And this is how some deceptive people work.
有些骗子也使用同样的手法。
20. There are some people who use Biblical words to capture a seekers ears.
有些人使用圣经里的字眼，来吸引渴慕真道的人。
21. They may talk about Christ, or redemption, or the cross,
他们可能谈到基督，灵魂得救或十字架，
22. Without believing the meaning of these words.
但他们自己并不相信其中所包涵的意义。
23. They use these trusted terms,

24. But it’s only a method of bait and switch.

25. In this case, the sellers employ these techniques to advertise the truth,

26. Which as far as they are concerned it’s out of stock,

27. And that is part of your enemies characteristic.

28. I want you to know that the first characteristic of your enemy is deception.

29. He is a deceiver,

30. He’s a destroyer,
它是一个破坏者，
31. He’s a duplicator,

32. A deviator and a deluder.

33. Tonight I want you to see his primary characteristic and that is deception.

34. Names such as devil and Satan are very significant words,

35. Don’t dismiss them,

36. Because they mean deceiver and slanderer,

37. And that is what the character of your enemy Satan is all about.

38. There is one thing about the deceivers that you must know up front,

39. And it is this,

40. Deceivers begin by deceiving themselves first,

41. Then they succeed in deceiving others.

42. They delude themselves first,

46. We saw first of all how Lucifer was one of the most beautiful of all angelic beings that God created,

47. He was there in the presence of God,

49. Then he became full of pride,

51. He wanted to sit on the throne of God.

52. He was prideful,

53. He did not want to be an obeyer of God’s commands,

55. Consequently, God threw him out of heaven.

56. Then we saw how Satan copied the hierarchical structure of the angelic beings into his satanic activities.

57. There are devils of all ranks and class,
邪灵分为各种等级，
58. We saw how he uses those fallen angels,

59. How he uses these demons to oppress, harass, and distress the believers in Jesus Christ.

60. Today and in the next few messages, we are going to examine his characteristics.

61. And as we go through this message I want you to be thinking about this question,

63. Do I resemble my real enemy or the Lord Jesus Christ?

64. In my lifestyle do I model the character of my enemy and the enemy of my soul or the character of the Lord Jesus Christ?

65. Do I imitate the enemy of God or do I endeavor to imitate the Savior of my soul?
“我是效法神的仇敌，还是尽心尽力效法我灵魂的救主？”
66. Do I deceive, slander, and malign others?
“我有没有欺诈、毁谤、陷害别人？”
67. Or do I encourage, uplift, and uphold?
“还是鼓舞、激励、支持别人？”
68. I want you to be thinking of this as we go through this message.
当我一边讲信息时，请你思考思考。
69. The first thing you need to know about your enemy is deception.
要认识你的敌人，首先要知道它是欺骗者。
70. And the first thing you need to know about deception is this,

71. It is the number one characteristic of your enemy.

72. Write it down.

73. Your enemy never comes to you and says,

74. Hello Mr. So-and so, or Mrs. So-and so,

75. I am going to deceive you today.

76. He doesn’t do that.

77. He’s too clever for that.

78. He knows that that would not be deception.

79. Someone said the following,

80. Satan is not fighting churches, he is joining them.

81. For he does more harm by sowing tears, than by pulling up wheat.

82. He accomplishes more by imitation than outright opposition.

83. You know what is the most dangerous lie?
你知道什么是最危险的谎言吗？
84. The most dangerous lie of all is the lie that resembles the truth.
最危险的谎言，就是与真理很相似的谎言。
85. I read about the man who went to his doctor one day.
我看过一篇报导，叙述一个人去看医生。
86. And after a thorough physical examination,

87. He said to the doctor, give it to me straight doctor.

88. Tell it to me in plain English, not technicalities,

89. I can take it,

90. Tell me what’s wrong with me.

91. And the doctor said,

92. Do you really want to know?

93. He said oh, yes!

95. Just give it to me!

96. What is really wrong with me?

97. And the doctor said,

98. You don’t really have anything wrong with you,

1. Except that you are lazy.

2. And the man thought for a minute and then he said,
那人想了一会儿说，
3. O-Kay, now give me all the medical terms so I can tell my wife.
好吧！现在请用专用的医学名称，让我好告诉我的妻子。
4. And that is a deceptive person.
这就是一个典型的自欺欺人者。
5. Satan operates in the realm of denial of the truth,
撒但活动于一个否定真理的境界中，
6. That’s where he operates.

7. When Satan came to Eve in the garden.
当初在伊甸园里，撒但来找夏娃。
8. He didn’t say to her,
它并不是对夏娃说，
9. Eve, if you obey me instead of God,

10. You will go with me and all of my angels into the lake of fire.

11. She would never have obeyed him.

12. But Satan is not stupid,

13. And the Bible says in Revelation 12:9,

14. The devil is the one who deceives the whole world.

15. Where could he begin in deceiving the whole world?
它从哪里开始欺骗全世界呢？
16. First of all, he began by deceiving one third of the angelic beings and getting them thrown out of heaven,

17. Then he deceived the whole world when he went to our first parents, Adam and Eve.

18. He knew if he could get them, he could get the rest of the world.

19. The problem with the story of Adam and Eve is, it is so well known that people take it for granted.

20. They do not stop to reflect on the deception of the enemy.

21. Satan did not come to Eve and say,

22. Look Eve, God is really a good God, but He really lied to you.

23. In fact that’s exactly what he said,

24. But he didn’t say it openly, and honestly, and bluntly like this.

25. He said it deceptively.

26. Here’s what he said in effect,

27. Eve, did God really say it that way?
夏娃，神岂是真说？
28. Did you really hear it right?

29. Did you really understand it this way?

30. And you know what he did?

31. Please listen carefully!

32. He made it possible for Eve to debate the issue.
它让夏娃在这件事上犹疑不定。
33. Listen to me carefully,

34. If Satan can get you to begin to debate any of the issues that are settled in the Word of God,
如果撒但能使你对神的话语中，已经十分肯定的事上，产生怀疑和争论，
35. He is 2/3 of the way through defeating you.
它在攻击你的战争里，已经赢了三分之二了。
36. If he gets you to debate the rightness and the wrongness of paying what you really owe to others,

37. He is 2/3 of the way there.

38. If he gets you to debate the rightness and the wrongness,
如果它让你心中产生矛盾，分不清是非，
39. Of getting close to someone of the opposite sex, other than your spouse,
到底该不该去亲近你配偶以外的异性，
40. He is 2/3 of the way there.
它已经赢了三分之二了。
41. If he gets you to debate the rightness and the wrongness of faithfully walking with God and depending on Him,
如果它使你心中挣扎，到底该不该忠诚地与神同行，并全心倚靠神，
42. He is 2/3 of the way there.
它已经赢了三分之二了。
43. Why?
何以见得？
44. Because these issues have already been settled in the Word of God.
因为这些事在圣经里已说得很清楚，是非对错都是毫无疑问的。
45. God has already spoken on these issues.
神已经在这些事上表明立场了。
46. I want to give you some examples of how Satan works.
让我举一些例子说明撒但的计谋。
47. As you listen to some of these examples, you are going to realize that I have been studying Satan’s operation.
你听了这些例子后，你就知道我对撒但的作为，是花了一番功夫研究的。
48. And I want to expose his deception to all the Christians.
而且我存心要向所有的基督徒揭发撒但的骗局。
49. He will come to you and say, you have a problem in your marriage, don’t you?
它来对你说：“你的婚姻有问题，是吗？”
50. And yes, you do have a problem,
不错，你的婚姻确实面临着问题，
51. And then the demon continues,
魔鬼接着说，
52. Don’t you think that God wants you to be really happy?
“难道神不希望你得到幸福快乐吗？”
53. And you say, yes, yes, I want to be happy.
你说：“是，我的确希望能快乐。”
54. But you’re not really happy in your marriage.
但你在婚姻关系中得不到快乐。
55. And then in a manner of a short period of time he has you compromising your marriage.
于是在很短的时间内，它使你在婚姻的事上妥协。
56. And then he will temp you to be unfaithful.
然后它引诱你对配偶不忠。
57. Sometimes, he may come to you and say to you, the Bible is a good book.
有时它来到你身边对你说：“圣经真是本好书。”
58. Use it as an ornament,
可以当作装饰品，
59. Put it under your pillow,
把它放在枕头下，
60. It may protect you.
它会保护你。
61. Or have it hanging in your car or somewhere else,

62. And never read it,
但从不读圣经，
63. That is how he deceives you.
魔鬼就是这样欺骗你的。
64. The Bible will not do you any good unless it is open.
如果圣经从来没有被翻开过，这圣经对你毫无益处。
65. And to learn from it,
你不能向它学习，
66. Know God through it.
也不能借着圣经认识神。
67. And the deception continues,
魔鬼的骗局继续下去，
68. He gets you busy all year long,

69. And he would say, it’s enough to go to church maybe twice a year.
然后它对你说：“一年去两趟礼拜堂也够多了。”
70. Because he knows that going to church and hearing to Word of God is going to change your life.
因为它知道，去礼拜堂听神的话语，就能改变你的生命。
71. Or he can come to you and say, you are too young to believe now,
或者它来对你说：“你现在还年轻，不需要宗教信仰，
72. There is plenty of time,
你有的是时间，
73. When you get older you can believe,
将来年纪大了再信还不迟啊，
74. Why don’t you just go ahead and do exactly what you want,
何不把握青春，随心所欲，享受人生，
75. God will understand.
神会谅解的。”
76. And think how he gets you deceived that way.
你看，魔鬼就是这样来欺哄你。
77. Our time has come to an end for right now,
